991 Tyler Street #114, Benicia, CA Opening Reception: Saturday, June 20th 4:00-6:00 PM (PDT) Wax has been used for a variety of artistic purposes for over 3,000 years. This juried exhibition presents current techniques incorporating wax. The exhibition showcases the diverse and innovative approaches artists employ to create 2-Dimensional and 3-Dimensional art with wax, including encaustic, cold wax, cast wax, and wax sculpture. This exhibition, open to artists internationally, features original paintings, drawings, sculptures, hand-pulled prints, textile art, fiber art, and installations with wax as a primary element.
