This series evolved from the Horizon Lines series, as works influenced by the memory of rural and natural landscapes. Through this series, Carrie strives to express our efforts to recall a sense of place where the inaccurate and distorted memory is presented with the awkwardness and misshapen forms of a flawed memory that tries to remember a moment in time.
