How exciting this is for me. I am getting my paintings ready for the show in the Quad City Airport Gallery and this is the first time I will be borrowing my work from collectors who have purchased my work. It is a new experience but thrilling to be able to show these works again. Thanks Carolyn and Vanessa for loaning the pieces and allowing me to show them again!!   A bit of multi-tasking today. Making encaustic medium, but while I wait for it to melt I'm cleaning my car and weeding & watering the garden.  What an honor it is to not only have three of my pieces selected for the 2017 DUMA Biennial, but I also learned that my paintings were chosen out of 580 submitted artworks!  Thank you to Amanda C. Burdan, PhD and the staff at the Dubuque Museum of Art for providing such a wonderful look at the 2017 DUMA Biennial from the juror's perspective.  |
