I'm happy to announce that one of my pieces that is currently on display in the Wish You Were Here exhibition at the Freeport Art Museum just sold today. Don't Forget Paris, Encaustic with mixed media, 12 x 12 inchesWell, I just completed my application for an artist in residence program. Wish Me Luck!!I still consider this one of my favorite pieces. Wishing Willow is a polyptych painting on 24 separate canvases, measuring 82 inches tall and 76 inches wide. I painted this piece back in 2005.
Here's a sneak peek of the exhibition at the Quad City International Airport Gallery. I can't wait to make it back there to see how the entire display turned out!!I am so happy to announce, "Colony Collapse/Bees 1" was selected for The Natural World Art Exhibition by Fusion Art and was also given an Honorable Mention award.
